Sarah Pulley
Owner / Founder and Hair Stylist
Specialty – Positive Guest Experience and Community Outreach
Since transitioning from stylist to business owner, Sarah has focused her time and effort on ensuring that each guest and stylist feels amazing at the salon. In addition to creating the best experience in her chairs, Sarah is passionate about community outreach and partnering with local businesses through her non-profit Amelia’s Miles.
Sarah has loved utilizing the salon to help with NICU fundraising, March of Dimes, the Ronald McDonald House and Carmel High school’s Dance Marathon. She hopes to grow her partnership with local hospitals and other businesses for future events and support! In her free time, Sarah loves camping, perfecting her cake decorating skills, and spending time with her husband Adam, their two children, Amelia and Joey, and their round-up of pets, including chickens, two rambunctious dogs, and a cat!
Alexis Roberts
Salon Manager & Hair Stylist
Specialty – Dimensional Color & Textured Cuts
Alexis joined Three Seventeen Hair Design in 2020. Since graduating from Aveda Fredric’s Institute and joining the salon, she has been working on building her books with clients who call her their “forever stylist”. Her goals for every guest are to find the best style to fit their needs, get to know them on a personal level, and make them feel right at home in her chair. Alexis loves creating lived-in color looks, short/mid-length layered cuts, and anything that involves fun colors and the use of her creative mind.
Outside the salon she enjoys spending time with her husband, son Ziggy, and friends. Alexis loves going out to eat, doing home projects, and taking excessive amounts of photos with her pets. Follow her on Instagram @Alexisr.hair
Missy Peterson
Hair Stylist
Specialty – Vivid Colors and Dimensional Reds
Missy Peterson has been doing hair for 40 years, and she still loves the creativity that comes with being behind the chair. Her favorite tool is her shears because they give her the freedom to create something new with every client. She especially loves a good layered cut and the fact that hair is always changing—there’s always something new to learn and create!
When she’s not doing hair, Missy loves spending time with her family and exploring new places. She’s a proud mom to twins, Blake and Taylor, and if she had to pick a favorite season, summer wins every time. ☀️

Lola Suiter
Hair Stylist
Specialty – Vivid Colors and Dimensional Reds
Lola graduated from Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in 2023 and has been loving the journey ever since. She’s all about meeting new people, helping them feel beautiful, and getting creative behind the chair—especially when she gets to pull out her Marcel iron or give a killer blowout.
When she’s not doing hair, you can usually find her painting or hanging out with her 4-year-old pup, Archer. She’s a pickle lover through and through, and fall is her absolute favorite season.

Lena Paiz

Specialty – Blonding and Highlights
Lena Paiz has loved doing hair for as long as she can remember, and in 2024 she turned that passion into a career after graduating from Christina and Company Education Center. What she enjoys most about being behind the chair is seeing the confidence it brings people and getting to connect with them while expressing her creativity.
Outside of the salon, Lena loves going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering at her church. She also has the sweetest goldendoodle named Rudy. Her favorite food is pasta, and she’ll take cozy fall days over any other season. Follow her on Instagram @hair.by._Lena

Makenzie Pollard

Makenzie has been a hair stylist since 2016 and has loved every moment of it. Besides being extremely sweet and caring, Makenzie goes above and beyond to make her guests feel like home in her chair. The majority of her guests are younger moms in the area who refer Makenzie, and then send their husbands in for haircuts too!
She spends a lot of time with her children, Kaelyn and Tristan, as well as her family (she’s one of TWELVE children). Her favorite food? Anything from Olive Garden! Check out her Instagram @hairby_makenziep.
Amy Gustafson

Specialty – Men’s Haircuts
Amy brings over 14 years of experience to Three Seventeen Hair Design. With an energetic and fun-loving personality, she makes sure each guest feels better about themselves while in her chair. Amy loves “big change” haircuts whether through coloring or styling to truly transform a guest’s look. The majority of Amy’s guests refer her because of her expertise and success in men’s haircuts and styles.
When not behind the chair, Amy loves a good steak dinner and spending time with her son Miles. Something you may not know about Amy? She has seven tattoos!
